Boat Tour Agency in Boca Raton, FL
Roadrunner Boat Rental Boca Raton operates as a boat tour agency for guests who want to see the waterway — self-guided sandbar, sunset, and Intracoastal sightseeing routes on our 24ft pontoons, with local route planning and safety gear included.
Self-Guided Boat Tours With Local Route Planning
As a boat tour agency, Roadrunner plans the route and you drive the day. We map your sandbar, sunset, or Intracoastal sightseeing route with you at the dock, hand over a clean and fueled 24-foot pontoon, and stay reachable by phone while you are out. Every tour is self-drive — we do not offer captained or guided tours — so the boat is private to your group of up to 8 passengers.
We operate 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily from 99 SE Mizner Blvd unit 600, Boca Raton, FL 33432. That gives you the flexibility to time a tour around tide, sandbar crowds, or golden hour. No prior boating experience is needed; our dockside orientation covers everything you need to follow the planned route with confidence.
Types of Tours We Offer
Sandbar Tours
Our most popular route. We send you to the Lake Boca sandbar, where you can anchor, swim off the floating mat, and relax in shallow water. The boat carries up to 8 passengers and includes a cooler with ice and a Bimini top for shade — everything you need for a sandbar day.
Sunset Tours
A timed route that brings you back to the dock at golden hour. We help you plan the length of the outing so your return lines up with the South Florida sunset over the Intracoastal — a favorite for couples and small celebrations.
Intracoastal Sightseeing Tours
A sightseeing-focused route along the Boca Raton Intracoastal, past waterfront homes and landmarks. We outline the route and timing at the dock; you cruise at your own pace and stop where you like. Note that ocean access through Boca Inlet is not allowed — tours stay on the protected Intracoastal and Lake Boca waters.
What's Included on Every Tour
Self-Guided Route
Every tour comes with a planned, mapped route that we walk through with you before departure. Because you take the helm, the pace and stops are yours to decide — we simply set you up with the right route for the time you have booked.
Safety Briefing & Gear
Each tour includes a complete dockside safety orientation, Coast Guard-approved life jackets in every size from infant to adult, and the required onboard safety equipment. Gas is included, so there is no fuel surcharge when you return.
Photo Stops & Local Tips
We point out the best photo and swim stops along your route and share local tips on timing, tides, and sandbar etiquette. You are free to anchor and swim, with a floating mat and swim ladder included on board.
Tour Pricing
Tour pricing is the same as our standard pontoon rental rates — the route type you choose does not change the price. These are the real numbers from our pricing page, with no hidden fees.

Sandbar Tour Pricing
A sandbar tour uses the same time-based pricing above. Most sandbar days work well as a 4-hour half-day ($300), giving you time to reach Lake Boca, anchor, swim, and return comfortably.
Sunset Tour Pricing
A sunset tour is priced by length, not by a premium tier. A 2-hour ($200) or 4-hour ($300) timing is usually enough to position your return around golden hour, depending on the season.
Private/Group Tour Options
Every Roadrunner tour is already private to your group — the boat is yours, up to 8 passengers, for the duration you book. There is no separate per-person tour fee and no shared-boat pricing.
